METALLURGICAL STUDIES OF EXTRA DEEP DRAWN STEEL IN STRETCH FORMING AT ELEVATED TEMPERATURES
Keywords:

This paper investigates the detailed study of microstructure, micro-hardness, grain size and grain density of low carbon extra deep drawn steel. The stretching operation was carried out on square and rectangular extra deep drawing steel specimens by keeping the length constant and varying the breadth and at different temperatures. The stretching has performed in three different regions namely safe, necking and fracture. The formability limit diagrams were constructed. The factrography studies for fractured surfaces of stretched samples were carried out.
